In the meadow, we can build a snowman…cookie!

One of my closest friends, Amy, and her mom, gave me a wonderful opportunity to bake Christmas cookies with abandon for a neighborhood holiday party. I made a few designs in gingerbread and classic sugar cookie.

For the snowman design, I used a basic circle cutter and piped a white icing base. Once dried, I drew the snowman in black frosting and added his winter gear in colors that coordinated with the other cookies in the set. I couldn’t resist the Disco Dust (edible glitter), my new cookie obsession. Every modern snowman needs a little bling, right?

This little guy might not pass as Parson Brown in a Winter Wonderland. But circus clown, that’s a different story.  In that category, this snowman (and his buddies) might be real contenders!
